Mathematics /core/fileparse.php/2224/urlt/Math_Interim_Assessment_Blocks_Blueprint.pdf
The Smarter Balanced preliminary Interim Assessment Blocks (IABs) blueprints describe a type of interim assessment available for teacher use in the classroom. IABs are short, focused sets of items that measure one or more assessment targets. These blueprints present the specific blocks that are available by grade level for English Language Arts/literacy or mathematics beginning at grade 3 and continuing through high school. Each block-level blueprint contains information about the claims, assessment targets, and depth of knowledge levels addressed by the items in that block, as well as the numbers of items allocated to each of those categories. Other more subject specific information is also included. The Interim Comprehensive Assessments (ICAs) use the same blueprint as the summative assessment.
